		<description>Thanks for your comment on my blog concerning this issue.  I continue to disagree with this interpretation of the event -- Jesus did not heal the woman until she admitted she was a &quot;dog.&quot;  There surely could have been a better way for Jesus to have accomplished these goals without requiring this woman to demean herself before her peer and even before God by going along with Jesus comparing her to a dog.  It may be that humans are insignificant compared to God, although I have a hard time squaring that circle with the claim of God&#039;s infinite love for each human being, but at the same time there is no getting around the idea that Jesus considered some people (the Israelites, to whom his &quot;primary mission&quot; was aimed) better than other people (Gentiles, more specifically the Caananites or the Greeks, depending on which translation you use here).</description>
